Welcome to the Stourbug website - which currently works best in Firefox.

With over 130 members in just over a year we're the fastest growing cycling group in the area. We're a friendly group, and, contrary to popular opinion,  welcome membership applications from men and family groups as well as women. Due to the current risk averse environment we cannot accept memberships from anyone under the age of 18 unless they are part of a family membership and are accompanied on rides by a parent. Stourbug isn't a race or sport orientated group - we just like cycling for health, leisure and pleasure.

Come and join us for local rides. We quite often head out along quiet lanes to the south and west of Stourbridge, and these rides usually include a stop for tea and cake. All rides are at the speed of the slowest rider, but if you feel like you're really slow just say, and we'll point you in the direction of our tortoise group rides. We're also attracting a growing band of MTB riders of both sexes.

Stourbug is affiliated to the Cyclist Touring Club (CTC), and through them can offer our members low cost third party insurance to an upper limit of £10 million of cover. We're also affiliated to the Youth Hostel Association (YHA), and use their facilities on group weekend rides.
